The Snow Goose

An elderly artist, isolated as a lighthouse keeper in a quaint Essex fishing village, finds companionship in helping a young orphan girl nurse a wounded snow goose back to health.

In a small Essex fishing village at the start of World War II, a young orphan named Fritha befriends a wounded snow goose and a reclusive artist named Philip Rhayadar, who lives in an abandoned lighthouse. Together, they nurse the bird back to health, but their peaceful existence is disrupted when Philip risks his life to save British soldiers trapped during the Dunkirk battle.
