In this movie, a small-town girl named Jane leaves her ordinary life behind for a chance at excitement in the city with her new boyfriend Nick, who introduces her to a dangerous drug. As she becomes addicted, her brother Eddie searches for her and gets caught up in the same cycle of addiction and trouble. Meanwhile, a wealthy socialite named Dorothy becomes embroiled in Nick's criminal dealings and must be rescued by Jane.
