Angelo Roncalli, born in 1881, was known for his profound spirituality and extraordinary goodness from a young age. He studied theology in Bergamo and Rome, becoming a priest and forming close bonds with friends Mattia and Nicola. Recognized for his talents, including his wide knowledge and willingness to sacrifice, he rose through the ranks to become a bishop and cardinal. When Pius XII passed away in 1958, 77-year-old Angelo attended the conclave to choose a new pope, only to be surprised by Jesus' gentle words "Tu es Petrus!" ("You are Peter!") and subsequently lead the Church as Pope John XXIII from October 28th.
