Two Tibetan refugees, young and full of energy, arrive at a monastery in India, bringing with them a burst of excitement as the World Cup is underway in France. The peaceful atmosphere of the monastery is disrupted by the infectious enthusiasm of a young student, Orgyen, who is obsessed with soccer. As the students work together to rent a TV to watch the Cup finals, they learn valuable lessons about teamwork, resourcefulness, and friendship. Meanwhile, the wise Lama, leader of the monastery, ponders the challenges of spreading Buddhist teachings in a rapidly changing world.
