In 1978, we step into Bruce Bickford's Santa Monica studio, where technicians work amidst drawers filled with figurines. As Zappa's symphonic music plays, we're transported into Bickford's imaginative creations, featuring chaotic battles between knife-wielding Africans and rifle-toting Whites. A toilet drawing comes to life, spewing out food that morphs into animals and objects in a whirlwind of shape-shifting visuals. In claymation, three ordinary men navigate treacherous landscapes, with everyday moments quickly giving way to grotesque and unsettling imagery.

Frank Zappa's music is juxtaposed with clay animation by Bruce Bickford.
