The film follows Howard, an overweight everyman engaged to his dream woman, Beverly. However, his life is disrupted by an obsession with The Three Stooges, with Moe, Larry, and Curly appearing everywhere. As Howard prepares for his wedding, his fixation grows stronger, leading him to join a group of Stoogemaniacs and eventually seek treatment at the Stooge Hills sanitarium, where he hopes to overcome his obsession with the help of a renowned psychologist.
