In the Canadian wilderness, people vanish annually, but this year, the body count is rising. Jim, a researcher, and his team, including his daughter Emmy, venture into the wilderness to study the Canadian Lynx, only to find that the Lynx and most wildlife are missing. As they investigate, they become stalked by a non-human predator that has no mercy, not even for human prey. Meanwhile, a local ranger searches for the truth behind the missing tourists, unaware that it will be his last quest.
