Two feuding families, led by Fateh Khan and Sher Khan, have a long-standing grudge. When their children, Salman and Ruksar, fall in love, both families agree to their marriage. However, on the wedding day, Fateh Khan demands a hefty dowry, which Sher Khan reluctantly agrees to. The newlyweds' happiness is short-lived, as Ruksar is asked to leave her in-laws' house the next morning. After returning home, Fateh Khan vows to kill Sher Khan, reigniting the longstanding conflict between the families, even after Ruksar gives birth to a baby boy.
