In 1950s Portland, Oregon, a tavern owner's peaceful life is disrupted as he becomes entangled in a bloody conflict between rival labor unions and a ruthless local crime organization, putting his loved ones at risk.

In the midst of a power struggle between two rival gangs vying for control of the unions in Portland, a tavern owner finds himself entangled in the conflict after his daughter is brutally attacked by one of the gangsters. Seeking revenge, the father joins the faction fighting against the syndicate and obtains crucial evidence using a tape recorder. However, his actions soon put him and his daughter in grave danger, until a group of honest union members comes to their rescue.
