An army of over 100,000 Iraqi soldiers and militiamen mobilize to liberate Mosul from the Islamic State in 2016. An Iraqi journalist joins the diverse group to explore if they can overcome sectarian differences and free their country from ISIS. Along the way, he meets a range of characters, including a Sunni tribal leader, a female militia leader, and refugees who survived ISIS occupation.
