Madeinusa, a 14-year-old Peruvian girl, lives in an isolated village in the Cordillera Blanca Mountain range, where a unique tradition prevails. From Good Friday to Easter Sunday, the villagers are free to do as they please, as they believe God is dead and can't see their actions. This two-day period of sinless indulgence is maintained by Madeinusa, her sister, and their father, the village mayor. However, everything changes with the arrival of Salvador, a young geologist from Lima, who inadvertently alters Madeinusa's fate.
