The widower Jack, to his daughter Grace's frustration, has started dating a colleague, Veronika. Both of them have a chance for a promotion if they can close a real estate deal by Christmas. As the holiday approaches, Jack and Grace travel to Grace's grandparents' home in the same town where Jack has the opportunity to make the deal.
