In the Line of Duty: Manhunt in the Dakotas

A former farmer, feeling disillusioned with the government's lack of support for American agriculture, takes a stand by refusing to pay taxes, leading to a confrontation with the authorities.

Gordon Kahl, a rebellious farmer, refuses to pay taxes due to his belief that the government neglects American farmers. Upon release from prison, his views remain unchanged, and he encourages others to join his cause. He also joins a white supremacy group and paramilitary organization. When the FBI attempts to arrest him, Kahl, armed and defiant, refuses to surrender. The ensuing standoff results in the deaths of most of the agents, prompting Kahl to go on the run.
