The film features canine versions of famous humans, including Jimmy Durante, Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, and more. Notable gags include a sandwich made of bones, a sheepdog with hair in his eyes gaining perfect vision when a pretty girl walks by, and a tuba player missing his cue due to a fly on his score. The film also features musical performances by Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and Kaynine Kyser, and ends with a running gag payoff involving a soldier calling home to Massachusetts.
