Little Bobo the Elephant leaves the jungle to pursue a glamorous life in an American circus, advised by a minah bird to paint himself pink to gain access to a ship. After arriving in the US, his pink color is washed away, and he's arrested and sentenced to life in a circus, where he's forced to carry "logs" (bats) for the big top baseball team.
