Godspell

In modern-day New York City, eight young adults are going about their daily routines when they're suddenly drawn to a mysterious figure named John, a free-spirited hippie who urges them to "prepare the way of the Lord". As they follow John, they're transformed into hippies themselves and embark on a journey through an empty city with Jesus, who teaches them about love, devotion, and tolerance. However, by the end of the day, not everyone is pleased with Jesus' teachings.
