A 25-year-old man named Gaspard is forced to reconnect with his family when his father announces his plans to remarry. He enlists the help of an eccentric girl named Laura, who agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend at the wedding. As they return to his parents' zoo, Gaspard is reunited with the animals he grew up with, but he soon discovers that his childhood is coming to an end.
