In this Western comedy, Ass-breaker Dingus Magee searches for a gold train and crosses paths with old friend Hoke Birdsill, robbing him of his cash. Hoke becomes the sheriff of Yerkey's Hole, where he's manipulated by Mayor and brothel owner Belle Knops to stir up trouble with the local Indians, threatening the nearby fort's soldiers. Meanwhile, Dingus becomes entangled with Anna, a pale, baby-talking Native American. The film playfully satirizes the "Code of the West" and its absurdities.
