Crimes at the Dark House

A cunning killer assumes the identity of a recently deceased heir to gain access to a sprawling estate, with the sinister intention of eliminating his sworn enemies.

A mysterious imposter assumes the identity of Sir Percival Glyde, who was murdered, and returns to his ancestral home, Blackwater Park, to claim a large inheritance. However, the estate is deeply in debt. The imposter then takes advantage of a long-standing betrothal promise to marry a young and beautiful heiress, Laurie Fairlie. The imposter will stop at nothing, including murder, to keep his true identity hidden and secure the inheritance.
