Kim Shun-Pei, a Korean teenager, migrates to Osaka, Japan in 1923. He transforms into a ruthless, greedy, and violent individual, building a factory in his community that exploits his employees. Despite accumulating wealth, he destroys his family life, having multiple mistresses and children, and shows no respect to anyone. His exploitative behavior continues until his death, alone in North Korea.
