A sailor, Zafer, returns to his coastal village in Izmir after a breakup with his girlfriend, Mehtap, whose father is also a sailor. His mother, Döndü, and her friend, Fahriye, attempt to persuade Zafer to remarry and start a family, but their plans are unexpectedly disrupted when a famous actress, Asli, unexpectedly joins Zafer's boat tour.
