Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie

Benny Silman, a mathematical genius from Brooklyn, leaves his comfort zone to study economics at Arizona State University, drawn by the sun, beautiful women, and proximity to Las Vegas's gambling scene. As he excels in his studies, he becomes involved with a bookie, Troy, who helps him make a profit through sports betting. Benny soon starts his own operation, earning a significant income with the help of his student vassals. However, his success attracts unwanted attention, including a friend's suggestion to cheat and a local drug lord's investment. Meanwhile, Benny's personal life becomes complicated, and he struggles to balance his business, studies, and relationships.
