Christina, a student from London, travels to her family's castle in Montserrat for her father's will reading, unaware that he has recently passed away. Upon arrival, she spends the night in a local inn, where the owner warns her that the castle is empty. The next morning, she's taken to the castle by a mute servant, where she meets her eccentric relatives. As she navigates the castle, she begins to blur the lines between reality and her own dark fantasies. When the will is read, she inherits the mansion, but her relatives' strange behavior and her own isolation soon take a sinister turn.
