A truck driver, recently released from prison, is forced to move back in with his mother after a tumultuous past. As they are reunited, old tensions and violence resurface. However, their relationship takes a devastating turn when Alain discovers his mother is struggling with a brain tumor and has made the difficult decision to end her life in Switzerland.
